Anusitis, rather like tiny anal fissures, can be treated by avoiding constipation, dietary items which can bother the patient, e.g. very spicy foods, etc. Local therapy with hemorrhoidal type of ointments can also be used. I guess the thrust of therapy is to reassure the patient as to the absence of anything sinister.
