Since studies show that the traditional seasonal influenza vaccination’s effectiveness is only 25-35% in people over age 70, shouldn’t they all get the adjuvanted vaccine and perhaps use the intradermal method which shows a higher “take”? K. Dittberner, MD, St. Amant, MB
These are very good points. To the best of my knowledge, we’re awaiting clinical trials and licensing of such products to guide recommendations in Canada.
